Description:Minnesota Masonic Home North Ridge has a rich history of providing quality care to seniors since 1966. We are a specialized senior health care community. Our continuum of care offers a variety of services: Senior Apartments, Assisted Living, Adult Day Program, Complex/Transitional Rehab Care, Long Term Care and secured areas for those with memory impairment. The Employee Records Coordinator performs work to create and organize personnel records, file employee documents, and completes forms as required. This position provides excellent customer service by representing the facility in a positive and professional manner. This position is at the front desk of our HR department and includes answering phones, greeting and assisting people who come in to the office, and assists with the coordination of applicant's employment.
Duties:Major job functions include responsibility for record keeping including all files and records pertinent to employees and HR department; filing; processing new hire and terminations; entering employee information into HRIS system; employment verifications; and creating reports with HRIS system. In addition, the Employee Records Coordinator will assist with the coordination of employment by completing employment references; providing offers of employment following established HR policies as requested; meeting with all new employees to complete paperwork; creating badges; notifying other departments of new hires according to set practices; completing correspondence with applicants and employees as directed; answering main HR phone and directing calls appropriately; greeting and assisting people who come to department; scheduling and/or conducting interviews as assigned; and submitting Worker\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Compensation claims as required.
Qualifications:This position is an entry level position into HR. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 6 months of Human Resources experience. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with people under all conditions. In addition, you will need excellent organizational and computer skills and the ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload. This position requires the ability to multi-task and demonstrate a high level of confidentiality in all areas of responsibility. Position is working 8 shifts per pay period (64 hours). Scheduled days are Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, from 8:00a-4:30p.
